Welcome to Paws & Whiskers Spa (the "Spa", "we", "us"). By accessing our website (https://www.pawsandwhiskersspa.ca/) and booking our professional grooming services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms & Conditions.

1. Booking and Appointments- All grooming services are available by appointment only.- To secure an appointment, clients must provide accurate contact details and comprehensive information regarding their pet’s health and behavior.

2. Pet Health and Safety Requirements

- Vaccinations: For the safety of your pet and the groomer, all pets must be up-to-date on their core vaccinations (Rabies is mandatory for dogs and cats).

- Medical Conditions: Owners must inform the Spa of any pre-existing medical conditions, allergies, skin issues, or joint problems prior to the grooming session.

- Aggressive Pets: We reserve the right to refuse service or stop a grooming session at any time if a pet displays dangerous or highly aggressive behavior that risks injury to itself or the groomer.

3. Severe Matting Policy

- If a pet’s coat is severely matted, our priority is the pet’s comfort and health.

- Removing severe matting can sometimes reveal hidden skin irritations or result in minor nicks due to the proximity of the mats to the skin.

The Spa is not liable for unavoidable skin irritation caused by removing severe mats. An additional de-matting fee may apply.

4. Limitation of LiabilityWhile we treat every pet with the utmost care, gentleness, and professionalism, Paws & Whiskers Spa is not liable for any medical conditions or emergencies that arise during or after the groom which are due to pre-existing health problems, hidden stress, or natural aging.
